Penthouse Master Bedroom in Bab Al Bahar, Ras Al Khaimah
Al Malek Carpentry designed and built the complete master bedroom of a penthouse in Bab Al Bahar, Ras Al Khaimah: a full-height built-in wardrobe, an upholstered bed with matching bedside tables, a floating dressing table with a backlit round mirror, and a stepped ceiling with concealed LED lighting. Every piece was designed in-house, made in our workshop and installed by our team.

The design
The room is built around a calm palette of soft greige, warm wood-look flooring and small gold accents. Instead of decoration, light does the work: a concealed LED cove runs around the ceiling, the mirror glows from behind, and the dressing table seems to float above the floor.
Built-in wardrobe
A six-door wardrobe runs from floor to ceiling and sits flush under the lowered ceiling, so it reads as part of the wall. The plain matt doors carry long vertical gold handles, and the LED cove above washes light down the front of the doors. See more custom wardrobes →
Bed and bedside tables
The king bed has an upholstered headboard and base in a textured fabric that matches the greige tone of the joinery, with three-drawer bedside tables on each side. See our bedroom sets →
Floating dressing table and round mirror
Opposite the bed, a wall-hung dressing table with three fluted drawers sits in front of a large round mirror. LED strips behind the mirror and under the unit give a soft halo in the evening and keep the floor visually clear. See more dressing tables →
Ceiling design and lighting
The ceiling steps down in layers around the room, with a concealed LED cove at the edges, recessed linear light channels across the centre and a few recessed spotlights. The levels also frame the wardrobe and the dressing area. See more ceiling designs →
Frequently asked questions
Can you design and build a complete bedroom like this?
Yes. For this penthouse we handled the design, the built-in wardrobe, the bed and bedside tables, the floating dressing table and the ceiling design, so every piece matches in colour and finish. We can do the same for a single room or a whole villa in Ras Al Khaimah.
Do you work in Bab Al Bahar and Al Marjan Island?
Yes. Bab Al Bahar is on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, and our team designs, delivers and installs joinery there, as well as in Al Hamra Village, Mina Al Arab and across the emirate.
How do I start a similar project?
Send photos of your room, rough measurements and any ideas you like on WhatsApp. We will suggest a layout and finishes, agree the design with you, and then send a clear quote before anything is made in our workshop.
